Tourist Attractions in Barranco

Bridge of sights

Inaugurated on February 14, 1876, it is one of the most visited attractions of the district.

Barranco’s main square

Inaugurated in 1898. In the main square you will find sculptures as the Danaide, the chandelier Barberini and also the sculptures of little angels called “Putti”

Barranco’s seafront

Natural ravine that reaches the beach. Many years ago there were plantations of olive trees and willows, which were changed by ficus.

Barranco’s viewpoint

It bears the name of Catalina Recavarren a famous poet from Barranco. This space was inaugurated in 1992.

Saenz Peña Promenade

Inaugurated in 1912, with the name of Gral.Argentino Roque Sáenz Peña. In this place stand out European-style ranches, built at the beginning of the 20th century.

Mate Museum

In a renovated house of the XIX century, MATE is located, an institution that exhibits the works of the Peruvian photographer Mario Testino.

Pedro de Osma Museum

The Pedro de Osma Museum was created from the collection of the philanthropist Don Pedro de Osma Gildemeister, who had in his shelter works of the viceregal heritage of Peru.

Beaches

Lima has a circuit of beaches called the Green Coast. It is par excellence the beach circuit of the Limeños.
